In the months following the outcome of the EU referendum,
CCRA has been extremely busy striving for the best possible outcome for the UK CRO
industry. In collaboration with the other Life Science Trade Associations, and
spearheaded by the ABPI and BioIndustry Associations, we have had input into
position papers and frequent, and ongoing, telephone discussions since August
2016. These are aimed at making it clear to government what is at stake and
the best possible negotiating position to take. In addition, as always, we
continue to have regular discussions with government trade and regulatory
bodies. CCRA is also represented on a number of working groups with its key
stakeholders in UK and Europe aimed at identifying and addressing the challenges
ahead in the most appropriate way.
